An Easy Pink Wine Sangria

With summer and heat waves coming the only I can think of is refreshing beverages…and fruits! And sangria is perfect for this hot humid weather, this Rosé Sangria is a little high on alcohol but I guarantee is great for a picnic, having a barbecue, an evening with friends and iced tea or even for a great meal at home, any occasion can be flawlessly pair with this great Monte Xanic Rosé Sangria. 

As you might know Rosé wines have a very distinct flavor as they leave a berries aftertaste in your mouth and following those hints I filled this sangria with huge amounts of berries! And oh my! they complement each other harmonically; you’ll taste strawberries and raspberries and a touch of peach which is customary in sangrias, I also add a drop of Cointreau which is an orange-flavored liqueur to get a sassy twist. With this bold mixture you will feel that the whole world has been wrong all alone by limiting the available fusions you can make with this delicious and fragrant beverage. If you’re going for a sweeter version of this Rosé Sangria you can definitely add some sugar or honey if you please. 

Sangria as it was conceived by Spaniards consists in red wine and local season fruits, but some rules are made to be break, don’t you think? It would be so boring to follow EVERY rule around the kitchen!

I leave the video to show you how to make this tasty Rosé Sangria, is easier than doing scramble eggs ;-) If you can’t find this Rosé wine, you can swap it with any other Rosé you find in your local supermarket, try to get one with delicate dry tasting and not so sweet.

Pink Wine Sangria

Red berries infused in Monte Xanic Rosé wine, with a strong taste, refreshing and dangerously addictive.  


  • 1 bottle of Monte Xanic Calixa Rosé wine
  • 50 grs (1 ¾ oz.) of raspberries
  • 50 grs (1 ¾ oz.) of strawberries
  • 1 peach
  • 1 fl.oz. of Cointreau
  • Ice
  • Sugar (at taste)
  • Instructions

    1. Chop all the fruit, put it in a pitcher, then add ice, the Cointreau and the Rosé wine, mix well.
    2. You can make this Rosé Sangria 2 hours before the event, let it macerate in the fridge and take the berries and peach flavors... it will be nice and chilled when people arrive!
    3. Serving cold is customary, add some ice and enjoy!

    Yield: 50 fl. oz. (1.5liters) of Sangria
    Prep Time: 0 hrs. 10 mins.
    Cook time: 00 hrs. 00 mins.
    Total time: 10 mins.
