Salmon salad

Who said that Christmas dinner has to be complicated, the special thing about christmas dinner is that you share with you loved ones a special moment, and that's why it's so important, today I bring to you a super practical recipe so it doesn't take you long to make, that way you'll have time to spare to share with your family, besides, t looks like it was made at a fancy restaurant and it's really easy to make, we just need to add a few great quality ingredients quality and a little imagination.

Ensalada de Salmón para la cena de Navidad

If you notice, there is no video recipe, but you can see step by step the plating, so you can see how easy it is, just with some salmon that my friends at Hanseatik sent me as a christmas gift, I made this tasty salad, just add some beetroot in 2 different ways to add texture (cooked and raw), some capers for acidity, watercress to add a crunchy and green touch, some dill leaves that compliment salmon greatly, toasted rye bread to add some ground to the salad and cream cheese, lemon and dill cream, as you might notice those are simple things, it didn't take me half an hour to make it and it was a great dish that your guests will love, besides if you are not an expert cook, or you get lazy spending 5 hours in the kitchen cooking a turkey or a pork leg, this solution is awesome.

All the ingredients I used to make this smoked salmon salad for christmas dinner match perfectly between each other, just have in mind when plating that there must be a balance between all the components, for example, the capers have a really strong flavour, so if we add to many they would overwhelm us, and the balance would be lost, so we add just a few, like a small touch.

Remember that the main thing about cooking is doing it with the right ingredients and above everything with a lot of love, that's the most special touch you can add to your foods, when you cook with care, everything tastes yummy, I hope you have great holidays and enjoy them with your family, I hope that santa brings you a lot of presents and that you spend xmas eve with all the people you love, I'll be sending good wishes from home, and hugs, lots of hugs.
